Assigning a seating chart to an event is straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Create a New Event:

    • Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
    • Navigate to Event Manager > Add Event.
  2. Fill in Event Details:

    • Add the event title, description, venue, date, time, and other standard information as you normally would.
  3. Configure Seating Chart Settings:
In the event creation form, you’ll notice three additional fields specific to Ultimate WP Seats Builder:

    1. Select a Chart:

      • A dropdown menu will display all published charts. Select the chart you want to assign to the event.
    2. Set Expiration Date:

      • Choose a date for when the event (and its booking) will expire.
    3. Enable or Disable Group Ticketing:

      • Check this box if you want to enable Group Ticketing for the event. Leave it unchecked for standard ticketing.
  4. Save the Event:

    • After selecting the chart and configuring the settings, click Save or Publish.
  5. Manage the Event Chart:

    • Once the event is saved, go to the event’s Edit Page.
    • You’ll see the assigned seating chart displayed.
  6. Reserve Seats (Optional):

    • Below the chart, you can:
      • Reserve Seats for Users: Assign specific seats to registered users.
      • Reserve Seats Without Assigning Users: Block seats without specifying users.
      • Move Bookings: Transfer reservations by selecting booths and moving them from one section to another.
  7. Ticket Creation:

    • If Group Ticketing is Disabled: Tickets are automatically created when the event is published.
    • If Group Ticketing is Enabled: You’ll need to manually create the tickets under the event settings.
