Our plugin offers two options for selling tickets: Simple Tickets and Group (Multi) Tickets.
1. Simple Ticket OptionThis option allows users to select individual seats across multiple categories and proceed to checkout.
Steps to Set Prices for Simple Tickets:
Assign Prices in the Chart:
- While creating or editing a chart, assign a price to each seat category.
- The category name must include the price and the currency symbol at the end.
- Example: For a “Gold” category with a price of $10, name the category: “Gold $10”.
Automatic Ticket Generation:
- When you create an event using this chart, the plugin will automatically generate tickets for each seat category based on the assigned prices.
This option is ideal when you need to bundle multiple seats into a single ticket, such as for family or group bookings. You can also create simple tickets (without seat assignments) using this option.
Steps to Set Prices for Group Tickets:
Create Tickets for the Event:
- Go to the event settings and create tickets as you normally would.
Configure Group Ticket Settings:
- When the Group Ticket option is enabled, you’ll have two additional settings to configure:
- Category: Select the chart category the ticket applies to.
- Number of Seats per Ticket: Define how many seats must be booked for each ticket (e.g., a family of 3 requires 3 seats per ticket).
- When the Group Ticket option is enabled, you’ll have two additional settings to configure:
Save Settings:
- Click Save, and the group ticket settings will be applied.
After setting up either Simple or Group tickets, your users can now select seats and purchase tickets seamlessly from the frontend.
This streamlined process ensures flexibility in managing both individual and group ticket sales.
